To go through this procedure, first and foremost, you need to wait for confirmation of successful completion of the course from your university. Therefore, you must live in the UK when applying for this visa, which lasts 2-3 years depending on your eligible course. If the government or any other international scholarship is sponsoring you, you must provide official written consent before applying. However, after the official confirmation of the successfully completed course, below are the steps you should follow to gain the UK post-study work visa.

Create or sign in to your UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) account.
Apply via the official GOV.UK portal.
Download the UK Immigration ID. Check the app to scan their Biometric Residence Permit or passport.
If the app doesn’t support it, you need to book an in-person appointment at a UKVCAS service point.
Pay a £880 application for the UK government for processing your visa application.
Pay a fee of £1,035 for the Immigration health surcharge to the UK’s National Health Service each year your visa is valid
Finally, await the decision, which takes around 8 weeks.
